ifilm hit series ‘Medical Building’ is likely to go to the second season, leading actor Behnam Tashakkor says.
The male lead of the popular series told ifilm reporter that the second installment of ‘Medical Building’ may well be made, adding, “One of the strongest points of the original series was the solid crew behind the scenes.”
“A professional and expert crew guarantees a project success,” the actor beileves.
He also noted,” The positive, happy and funny ambiance in making this series was so much so that in some sequences 38 takes had to be done due to the fun and vibrancy in each.”
About the humor factor in each scene he said, “Fun and humor also can be deceiving given some scenes may look funny at production stage, but cannot made the audience laugh.”
He suggested that in making a comedy one should avoid absurdity.
Directed by Soroush Sehhat, the sitcom revolves around the life of a psychologist named Nima, who is constantly being underestimated by his family and colleagues, and failing to establish a place for himself as a successful doctor in society.
Nima rents an office in a building filled with doctors who don’t accept him as a real doctor due to his graduating from an online university. Meanwhile, his ex-wife practices in the same building as a psychiatrist, with his current wife being one of his former patients and extremely jealous of his ex.
